- 14:30 Peanut butter gelato + dark hot chocolate powder = WIN. #
- 16:24 Settling in to watch Soylent Green since I never have seen this thing. This ought to be nice and Perky and Cheerful! #
- 17:31 Hel-lo, it's snowing in Kenmore! Winter weather advisory says 1-3 inches but likely to shift over to rain. We'll see if anything sticks. #
- 19:06 Meh. Snowing hard enough that Dara couldn't make it to the Open Mike at the Wayward. She had to turn around and come home. #

Date: 2009-01-05 06:47 pm (UTC)Edward G. Robinson did that fabulously touching death scene knowing full well that he had terminal cancer and this was no doubt his last film. Even not knowing that, if you didn't cry, check your pulse.
"I've lived too long!... I love you, Thorn."
"I love you, Sol."
Charlton Heston was really crying in that scene. He was the only person on set who knew Edward G. Robinson was dying. That scene was the last day he worked in his life; he died nine days after shooting wrapped.
