at least the potty incidents weren't on giftmas, cuz boxing day repairs are easier affected for cheaper - either do-it-yourself w/ items from home depot/lowes or a repair person!

That was a fortunate thing, yeah. Equally fortunate was that solarbird caught it fast enough that no real harm was done--and spazzkat didn't have anything critical under the drippy bits of the ceiling downstairs. So, yay!

I"ll clean EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW before I even attempt to cope w/ wet books! That's like literary murder, in ways that are SO painful!

Yeah. I hate dealing with wet books. And yet I continue to read in the tub. I'm challenging the book gods, I tell ya. *^_^*;;

With a large enough ZipLoc bag, you can safely read in the tub AND still turn the pages without breaking the seal :)

I dunno, that seems clumsy, trying to get the pages through the plastic...? But hey, if it works.

friend of mine puts a rubber band on one side taped to the inside of the bag, you just use that to slide a page enough to be able to turn it
anything to keep a book SAFE *and* still read in the tub!

Yeah, the upstairs and downstairs toilets both got clogged. Very annoying!

(They're junk toilets, the cheapest possible type available when the house was built, solarbird says. When we have enough spare dollars, we'll be replacing them with toilets that don't suck.)
