Today is FIRED

The Martian Death Cold is not done with me yet.

I started feeling crappy last night, and this morning, I woke up with a sore throat. I'm home sick. Again. And very, very tired of this. Three and a half weeks this stupid cold has hung in there.

Thanks! This is just deeply vexing and I want it to stop now. I don't even know if this is the same crud or if I caught new crud at the con or what. Meh.

It's the same crud. Everyone I know who's had this, they /think/ they've kicked it and it comes back. (This includes me; I was certain I was over it, and now it's back again with the aches and sore throat.)

My aunt, who's been fighting it to some degree or another for six weeks now, is referring to it irritably as 'the neverending cold.'

I never know how the hell to tell the difference. Though I have observed that today's crud seems to be manifesting differently than the previous crud, so I'm not even sure if it's the same crud or if I picked up something else at the con over the weekend. JOY!

Good suggestion, thank you! Just fired off a note to my doc through the clinic's helpful online message system. Three and a half weeks in on this, I'm not sure if I have any medical option besides "suck it up and deal", but well, that's what we have doctors for: to ask these very questions.

Slowly creeping back towards normal, finally, thank you. :) solarbird has been on me to use all the various remedies we have on hand regularly, and they're finally working. I'm heading back to work tomorrow.
