Tonight's laptop update!

The laptop has reached Portland. And the poll still has Winnowill solidly in the lead--but CaptainMal, Kaylee, and Starbuck are in a cutthroat three-way tie for second place! ;) Also, I have a strong advocate vote for Zoe from kissare, and spazzkat just thought of Ivanova as well, both of which are concepts I am willing to entertain even if they aren't on the original poll. If anybody wants to change their votes to either of these, feel free to do so!

The box is very likely going to arrive some time tomorrow, so if anybody wants to upset the Black Snake out of the lead, better vote early and vote often!

And don't forget, Mac users, software recommendations are also welcome. ^_^ I'm still looking for suggestions on LJ-archiving software, among other things!

Ivanova? Hmmm..I don't think I'd be comfortable naming a piece of electronics after a woman whose motto is "No boom today. Boom tomorrow. Always boom tomorrow." :)

*laugh* I dunno, as solarbird rightly observes, I more think her motto is "Ivanova is God". ;)
