That's our friends kathrynt and llachglin's little girl Lillian, who conked out in the middle of our pumpkin carving party last weekend, and who is herself pretty freggin' cute. ;)

And Dara didn't even post pictures of BOTH kittens curled up next to her. I'm tellin' ya, we barely survived the sight of it ourselves.

Indeed. They are Avatars of Cuteness, these kittens. Fred has taken to snuggling on my chest in the evenings when I'm writing, and it's hysterical watching him alternate between ZOMG WHAT'S THAT ON THE SCREEN? and YOU ARE PAYING INSUFFICIENT ATTENTION TO THE CAT.

Last night when he reacted to the sight of the kittenpics post on the screen was great, too. ^_^

Hee! I am not insensible to the allure of dogs; I have lived with some wonderful doggies in my time. I'm just better at looking after cats, and our household is better suited to cat care than dog care. ^_^
