How the dream should have gone

Last night, perhaps due to realizing that Faerie Blood has been in the e-queue at Baen for a year now, I dreamed that they accepted it. However, when I got the offer via text message on my phone, I realized that something was wrong with the entire situation and that surely I had to be dreaming.

spazzkat suggests that the dream should have proceeded to have Russell Crowe show up with a copy of the novel, asking for me to sign it so that he could give it to Alan Doyle as a gift. And then Alan would show up, asking me to sign a copy of Russell.

Then they would make out.

That would have been a much more interesting dream.

And why should the two guys have all the fun, and you just get to watch?

*laughs!* Good catch. Of course, any dream of mine would be improved by multiple copies of Russell.

I wonder if my subconscious is trying to tell me I should watch Virtuosity again. Or perhaps get my ass into the theaters and watch 3:10 to Yuma.

You probably missed my (spoiler-free) post about 3:10 but I saw it when it came out and it was superb, especially the ending.

There are rumblings up here about getting a group together to go see it, but this weekend is going to be rather packed for me, I fear. There are also rumblings going on about the Murkworks crowd finally catching Stardust, which I also hear is excellent, and there's no way I'm going to be able to cram two movies into one weekend, even if one of them does star Russell. Siiiiigh. :)

Heh, can't, I have to edit a story tonight! The allure of Russell and Christian Bale is strong... but for once, I actually have a deadline. ;) And the interest to go see Stardust was on the queue first.
