I have just been informed by my little brother that our sister Sarah has given birth to her second child, a baby girl, Grace Elaine, 7 pounds and 5 ounces! I hope to see baby pictures some time in the immediate future; meanwhile, everyone please welcome the latest addition to the world.

It is a good day for babies: a coworker just gave birth to a baby girl last night as well!

Indeed, jars raised and toasts drunk in honor of the family! I'm looking forward to baby pics, and kathrynt has very kindly offered to gather together things she and llachglin can't use anymore for their own little girl. I'll see about sending a care package Sarah's way. :)
