They have orange creme frappucinos. ORANGE CREME FRAPPUCINOS, I tell you! They'd better have a whole lot of the mixin's for those in stock, 'cause I'm going to be there all summer.

After seeing the Doctor Who fanvid set to Carbon Leaf's "Life Less Ordinary", I have been having snippets of various episodes pop into my brain every time I hear a Carbon Leaf song now. Especially "Home", "The Boxer", "Wandrin' Around", "Love Loss Hope Repeat", and maybe also "The War Was In Color". seimaisin, I blame you. ;)

aerialscribe says I have another month to finish up my story for him, so yay on that--I think I should be able to comfortably get it done on time and still keep steadily working on both Lament of the Dove edits and throwing words at Queen of Souls. All of which should serve to keep me nicely distracted from wondering whether Le Agent who has the Lament partial will ask me for the whole thing *fret* quick somebody distract me with pretty pictures!

This weekend promises to be busy for the Murkworks. There will possibly be Street Fair. There will definitely be, at least for solarbird and me, going to look at our first show of Alexander James Adams' (he's the Heir to Heather Alexander, as I've mentioned before), since he's playing in Everett. There may possibly also be Spidey 3, but we don't know yet.

In other news, it's too damned hot for May. I dread how hot it's going to get around here in August.

We've got one, but it's this portable thingie that really has only enough juice to cool one room. We parked it in the media room last summer and pretty much camped there during the entire nastiest bits of the heat wave. Elsewhere in the house we have to make do with throwing open all the windows and clever use of fans.

HAH, and it does now occur to me that now that we have Martha, the chorus can have both a he and a she in it still, so HRMRMRmRMMRmm, this bears more thinking about. ;)

that sounds like a whole lot more walking (or smaller lunches) might be called for. seems to me i read/heard somewhere about the elventy-zillion calories in the caramel ones ;) VERY tasty, but dangerous if some form of caution is not exercised. this is where the "can't have dairy" thing actually comes in almost-handy :)

Indeed--I only get the smallest size of these bastards, period, but now they have ORANGE CREME. GAH. Evil, evil, evil tasty orange creme frappucinos.

It's a damn good thing I'll be getting in my 3+ miles today. ;)
