My Friends list backlog: tl;dr

I just went back 100 posts on the Friends list and as I am still recovering from the Bug From Hell, I think that's about all I can handle at the moment. If there's anything that happened on my Friends list over the last few days that I missed and that I should see, y'all feel free to drop a comment on this post.

Meanwhile, as a general PSA: I fell completely off the planet in regards to handing out tapes of the premiere of Blood Ties. I succeeded in, I believe, making three copies. firni, wrog, and lyricae, if you still want these, let me know? If you got to see the premiere in some other fashion, that's cool too.

Went back to work today and was promptly eaten by a week-long email backlog and everybody flinging QA projects at me at once. Plus, I got to meet the new contractor who actually started last week while I was out. Mostly I spent the day playing catchup, though. And tomorrow, as I am still cough-ridden and low on energy even though I am ambulatory, I shall be taking solarbird and spazzkat up on their sage advice and calling my doctor about maybe another round of antibiotic tomorrow.

More as I continue coming back online. Hope y'all are well and that those of you who celebrate Easter had a good 'un.

I'm trying to figure out if the one I saw on the "LMN" channel is the premiere. It was just short of two hours and involved a demon and Vickie meeting Henry for the first time... so was that the first one, or are they messing with me?

Glad you're feeling better. You should ask the doctor for Zithromax this time. The regular 'cillins didn't get rid of that nasty infection I had after a cold two years ago, and it took "the big guns" to kill it. Mycoplasma, I believe the doctor called it.

No problem, I'm glad you're getting better!

Okay, now I'm confused. The Tivo recorded "Heart of Fire" last night, and the "previously" part at the beginning is showing stuff I've never seen before, yet the Tivo doesn't show that it forgot to record anything. Did they forget to include the episode before this, or was it just longer than two weeks ago so the Tivo doesn't have it in the recording history?

All of the expected episodes have aired, according to the episode list I've seen. I bet your Tivo had a scheduling conflict of some sort, though why it didn't show up in the To-Do list I couldn't say.

What, you didn't see my post about me quiting my job because my new fiance just inherited a buttload of money and we're moving to the Bahammas to live.












Just kidding. Wanted to know if you're back in the land of the living enough to realize that. I am moving to a new shift at work (graveyard shift, 11p to 8a local time) because I'll be full-time which means I'll get more hours and more money (plus the fact that I'll have a $.50 shift differential). I hadn't actually posted this in my lj, but since I'm here, thought I'd drop this bit of news.

Yay, more hours and more money! Graveyard shift sounds a little annoying, but if the hours are okay with you, well. :)

I can relate. Though my backlog tends to run further than that. (Did you know; I started a text file to just catch entries I want to look at in depth -- that's where this comment comes from -- because LJ tends not to display my friends list beyond a certain point)

Heh, yeah--that's one of the drawbacks about having a huge Friends list. I frequently miss stuff, since all I have time to do is skim. But it does give me a good sampling of everything that's going on on people's journals, I find. ^_^
