Bah, Day 6

Not quite normal again yet... but normal is in sight.

I went and saw Dr. Debelak at the UW Woodinville Clinic yesterday, and she told me I had infections in both ears and wasn't terribly thrilled with the look of my throat either. So she prescribed me amoxycillin and some cough syrup with codeine in it, and told me that she liked the idea of me taking today to rest up before I try to go to the con tomorrow. I will be proceeding with this plan. After a few rounds of the antibiotic and the cough syrup I am feeling close to functional again, so maybe by tomorrow I'll be closer still.

Plan for today: rest up, wash the bedclothes in some nice hot water and air the house out a bit (since it's been all stuffy and I can use some fresh air), pay some bills, watch the Lord of the Rings movies since I'm in the mood, and go to the chiropractor. Not a bad way to spend the day off.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm not quite back to a hundred percent yet, but now I feel like I'm getting there. I can swallow, and it doesn't hurt! It's amazing how much of a relief that is after nearly a week's worth of sore throat. :) And I'm very happy to get to go to at least most of the con!
