Darn, it looks like the next Dresden episode that's going to air will not in fact be "Storm Front"--it'll be "Bad Blood", according to its skiffy channel page. Poking around a little, I found this bit of schedule posted up on the forums on jim-butcher.com:

There were a lot of rerun showings listed in the schedule as well--it's all over the place on the Sci-Fi channel schedule, so if you miss the actual airtime on Sunday nights, wait around a bit and it'll definitely show up again. I'm a little bummed that "Storm Front" is going to take longer to get to us, but hopefully this'll mean that that story will be used to set more of a story-arc kind of tone. We'll have to see!

There's nothing wrong with Sci-Fi Channel schedulers that can't be solved with a suitable application of...oh...an enchanted hockey stick?

I think it might be a story-arc sort of thing, myself. It would have been hard to do "Storm Front", I think, early on in the series, because there's so much explanation and setup that happens in that book just in Harry's narration - it might be better storytelling for television to have it happen later, rather than rely entirely on his voiceover to explain the world we're living in.

That's my optimistic hope, anyway. ;)

Indeed. And if several of the major players have been introduced already, that should help clear things up considerably before the episode airs. I suspect we may be getting Bianca next week. ;)

I agree that this last week's episode was the best so far. I hope that this is a sign that they're hitting stride. I also hope, though, that we can get more serial elements soon - I'm such a serial television junkie.

And yeah, I'm anxious to see some story-arc type things show up. So far the one-shot episodes are all well and good, but I wanna see some long-term stuff!
