Storm debris pictures

solarbird has a bunch of storm aftermath and debris pictures posted on her journal over here. I'm in a couple of those pictures and was there for the taking of many of the rest, and still I say yowza!

I'm ready for some nice, calm, and far more typical gray Seattle drizzle about now.

Wow. I wonder if my mom's taken any pictures from down at their end? I should tell her to go do that. ;)

I see some of the other pictures that have been taken, like some of the ones on the Times site, and just boggle. And I'm very glad that all the folks on LJ are doing okay! Power loss--inconvenient and annoying. House being smashed? That's suckage.

You're more than welcome to have our spring-like weather down here in Arkansas. It was so pretty today, we opened the windows and doors and took the toddler out to romp in the piles of leaves.

Heh, it settled down here quickly enough in the last few days. Now we're back to fairly standard gray and drizzly weather around here. And honestly? That's quite okay!

Hi from Norway. I've had my own mini-crisis with my PC breaking down. Completely cut off from civilization (or the internet, which these days is pretty much the same thing) I got a temporary reprieve from my isolation when my cellphone got a text message from Seattle. Although since all it said was that you had lost power, I didn't really grasp the full scale of it.

I'm now visiting mother for Christmas, and she has Internet. Having been on withdrawal for a week, I'm going a bit crazy at the moment.
