And a slightly less fast one, now that I'm home tonight from the movie and meal in honor of [livejournal.com profile] mamishka's birthday! I'll post a decent summary post for Writer's Weekend possibly tomorrow, once I'm a bit less fried.

The meal was Indian, at Cedars in the U-district, and the movie was X3. The meal was fun, with [livejournal.com profile] darthhellokitty, [livejournal.com profile] kingchiron, [livejournal.com profile] lyricae, [livejournal.com profile] tinlail, [livejournal.com profile] spazzkat, [livejournal.com profile] solarbird, and off-LJ Liza all present to hang with the Meems, and other folks showing up as well to hit the flick. The flick? Not so much. Not good, that. Not as not-good as I was expecting, but... not good. And that's about all I'll say about that. I may do a longer post with spoilers on that if the whim dictates, but we'll see how things shape up tomorrow. We did get the excellent trailer for Dead Man's Chest, though, and a trailer for a Woody Allen flick called Scoop that looked... not half bad. I mention this mostly because like the movie we were to see, it had Hugh Jackman in it. And I totally did not recognize him with an English accent, playing a smooth-mannered rich guy.

Mostly this is to get caught up on my mileage count from over the weekend, since I was able to get in a bit of outside walking as well as two jaunts on the treadmill, all of which helped offset being in con mode for eating!

Thursday miles: 2.0
Friday miles: 2.15
Sunday miles: 3.1
Miles out of Hobbiton: 1154.3
Miles out of Rivendell: 696.3
Miles out of Lothlórien: 234.3
Miles to Rauros Falls: 154.7

I'm looking forward to Scoop too, actually. It's kind of the polar opposite of 'Match Point', Allen's last movie-in-London-starring-Scarlet-Johanssen or however she spells her last name. Plus, frankly, Hugh Jackman is fifteen different kinds of yummy as dashing rich English guy. Hubba hubba. :)

And Pirates goes without saying. I might end up seeing it here in Japan before I come back - I think it's released the 22nd of July here, which is smack in the middle of my sister's visit and a week before I fly home for the very last time. :)

E-mail...

Hello there,
I was on your site. And I wanted to e-mail you. I remember having contact with you before, when the SAS was still online. Now I have a few questions regarding it. But your contact page doesn't work and I don't have your e-mail address anymore. Would you mind e-mailing me at nevaratoiel[@]hotmail.co.uk? I'd appreciate it.
Greetings,
Nicole
