Even though I don't have to go to work today, I got up at about the same time just because I have that many things to do to get ready to go to Writer's Weekend! Washing clothes, paying bills, changing the cat box, figuring out what groceries I need to have with me in the hotel room--and getting those groceries as well. All sorts of little errand-y things like that. And true to yesterday's promise, I did a complete backup of my laptop onto our USB drive. Which means I've backed up twice this month. Go me!

It's doubtful that I'll have net access at the hotel, much less time to actually read LJ. So if there's anything particularly urgent or fabulous you need me to know right now, better sing out! Or else bring me up to speed on Monday when I get back. :)

You're going net-less at the hotel? Not me, I'm springing for the high-speed access they have. I figured I would take advantage of it and download some songs from iTunes that I've been meaning to get. I can finally pick up some GBS stuff.

Yeah, I wanted to go net-less--I didn't have any real reason to stay online, since I could queue up my LJ posts for later posting! (Well, the ones on my writing journal, anyway. Aside from messing up the dates on the posts!)
