I really must remember to adjust the Smart Playlists on my iPod so that the dummy files used by the iTrip, the frob I can attach to it to let it play over my car radio, do not come up when I try to go through my Not Recently Played playlist. 'Cause y'know what I don't really want to listen to? 100+ 5-second files that go "beep".

However, after hitting the Next button a lot to get to some actual music, 30 Odd Foot of Grunts came up, and that's all to the good, 'cause now I'm all 'oh yeah, TOFOG1 goodness!' ^_^ Some of the songs that originally sold me on the whole idea that Russell Crowe can, in fact, sing.

And now I get some Billy Dean Cochran guitar solo goodness, too!

The 100+ 5-second files of 'beep' somehow, makes me giggle. I mean, would it not be awesome to shuffle those in with a randomized playlist?!?!

Had I had the iPod set to Shuffle Songs rather than Shuffle Albums, that's exactly what I would have had happen. I'm going through my Not Recently Played playlist, which is "everything on the device that hasn't been played in two months or more", and that pulled in all the iTrip dummy files too. And it put them all at the beginning, since it organized them all on the same "album". Hee. :)

I bet it would make the iTrip flash in interesting ways, too, if it were actually plugged into the iPod at the time. ;)
