Hey folks, word has come to me via [livejournal.com profile] stickmaker and [livejournal.com profile] rosepurr that Kentucky is getting hit with some nasty-ass weather tonight, to the tune of possible tornados and hurricane-force winds of up to 80mph. I'm seeing tornado warnings for Louisville and a watch up for Lexington on weather.com. O.O

Y'all batten down the hatches and stay warm and dry and safe, okay? And drop a comment here to sing out when you can and let me know you're okay! [livejournal.com profile] wildshadowstar, I'm especially talking to YOU.

I just called my mom, and we live between Richmond Road, Alumni, and New Circle. She says things are kind of crazy nearby, but hasn't quite hit the area yet. ._. Thanks for the heads up though, I didn't even know and now I'm all worried.

Hope people you know are ok too.

Probably part of the same system that caught me earlier this evening. Luckily, the worst of it went around my town, but within two miles of my home.

The only reason I paid any attention to the weather last night was because we had to move the residents away from the windows (was at work).

I love rainy weather unless I have to go out into it. I don't like the destruction that heavier winds bring, but if things stay on the calmer side, I like that kind of stuff.
