A Good Year release date?
Mar. 5th, 2006 08:53 pmHey Russell fen on my Friends list--is the release date on A Good Year really April 7th?! Last I'd heard it wasn't coming out until October. But I'm seeing several sites like imdb.com and countingdown.com and comingsoon.net saying April 7th. Are we really just a little over a month until a shiny new Russell flick? Especially a romantic comedy in which there are high odds of him looking all cute and disheveled and maybe even smiling, a combination which is likely to take out my knees within fifty feet of the theater?
The man can't sneak up on me like this, I need time to prepare.
(And mm, he looked good tonight on the Oscars, brief though his appearance was. Mm, the hair!)
ETA:
boxer_ferret confirms the October release. Darn. ;)

Thanks for chiming in!

Date: 2006-03-06 05:43 pm (UTC)Let's see. I've got:
* The Crossing (on tape--this is extremely early Russell, the movie in which he met his future wifey, and OHMIGOD he's a puppy)
* Hammers Over the Anvil
* The Quick and the Dead
* No Way Back (on tape)
* Virtuosity
* Rough Magic (on tape)
* L.A. Confidential
* Mystery, Alaska
* Gladiator
* Proof of Life
* A Beautiful Mind
* Master and Commander
* Cinderella Man
Wow, I've got 13 Russell flicks. ^_^
