Greetings go out to tvaddictgurl! Any fan of Russell Crowe's and anyone out of the Writer's Weekend crowd is a welcome sight in these parts! Did we meet at the last Writer's Weekend? And extra-special musical GBS-lovin' Vertical Movement greetings to fredpdx, a.k.a. my no-longer-off-LJ friend Fred, last mentioned on this journal in my concert writeups over the weekend! Everybody give it up and say hi!

Meanwhile, I acquired rachelcaine's Heat Stroke on my way home tonight, and I suppose I should remark on the small irony of purchasing a book with that title when the Pacific Northwest is about to be hit with a cold snap. Hee. But more importantly, I HAVE THE BOOK. So yay, impending further uber-hot David! ;)

Very much looking forward to it! I'm in the middle of Patricia Briggs' Moon Called right now, so I'm not going to leap into it immediately, but it's very high on the queue. I may have to jump into it next.

(Though really, I'm almost tempted to re-read Ill Wind first just because I liked it that much! And because I'm not entirely sure I quite absorbed the full impact of the swoonability of David quite yet. ;) )

Actually I don't think we met at Writers Weekend last year. But somehow I found your lj shortly after that and have actually been reading it since then.

Heat Stroke is a fantastic book. The series gets better with each book.

Ill Wind certainly was a fantastic start to the series, and I'm very much looking forward to the rest. :)
