I had to admit I had my doubts--because Christopher Eccleston had really sold me, as I've posted about before. But I think this gentleman has more than adroitly picked up a very fine ball and burst right out of the gate with it. "Did you miss me?" EXCELLENT. :D

I have been rather amused that the last three Doctors have all been lookers. I mean, for a while there it didn't look like the odds of a Gallifreyan coming out hot were very good, y'know? ;)

Yeah, totally. Eccleston didn't do much for me physically, but he had thermonuclear charisma, which I did find totally swoonable. I'm really happy Tennant's got more of that going on!

Tennant's actually an old hand to Doctor Who related things, so I'm not at all surprised that he's doing a good job. :)

Granted, his capacity fo go from perfectly normal to patently manic in less than one syllable is marvelous. :)

He played Colonel Brimmicombe Wood in the Big Finish Audio Production of the UNIT series... and likely had to end fast so he could take up the role of the Doctor.

It's the fault of this journal style. I still apparently haven't quite figured out how to make it not do that--I thought I fixed it. I'm not sure I can, though; last time I went digging for the code, I traced it (I think) to a function that doesn't have publically accessible/alterable code. Foo.

I hear tell Eccleston's episodes are coming out in Canada on DVD soon, so maybe I shall get my Canadian spies to help me out with that. ;)
