Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Dec. 1st, 2005 11:54 amOkay, I'm charmed. It's official.
(Actually, I first wrote 'It's charmed. I'm official', and I didn't catch this until
spazzkat pointed it out. Oops.
solarbird giggled and liked that, which is why I mention this now.)
ANYWAY, from stowaway to fat cat class, Emily the cat is heading home, in style. I am especially charmed because this cat looks a lot like Polly!
In honor of it being winter and today's first snow of the season here in the greater Seattle area, I have switched out my default icon to a winter version of my Yahoo avatar. It also looks better with my winter seasonal journal colors. Snow on the first day of December! I approve. Even if we don't get any accumulation to speak of, I still love watching snow fall, and it makes it look like actual winter around here. Dara and I may go out in it in a bit just for the sake of a walk in the snow, and because we also need to make a pilgrimage out anyway, for lo, we are sadly lacking in soda in this house.
It is beginning to look like I'm about to take a jaunt down to California possibly on or around the 19th for job interview purposes. Not quite as soon as I expected, but still pretty soon. More details as I have them. But now I need to think about interview clothes and maybe getting my hair trimmed up and YEEP.
To all of you folks who have been winging comments at me about beta reading, thanks in advance, and I hope that you'll enjoy my work. :)
