We're at something like 400'. If you're right on the water, you're more at 120-150 feet or so. Amazingly that has been enough to matter in the past.

Well, I'm on the hill in Fremont (right by the troll). So I'm like two blocks from the water, but high enough that I can see Lake Union from my third-floor window just fine. More like 225. Still enough to matter... *sniffle* No snow.

(And your icon scares me.)

Yeah, it's coming down pretty hard here.

(And yeah, but even though it's Azumanga Diaoh, every time I see it somewhere it somehow reminds me of Sana from Kodomo no Omocha. And I once had to do a running translation of 13 unsubtitled episodes of Kodocha at a party. If you've ever seen Kodocha and know any Japanese, you will understand the pain and mental scarring this entailed!)

It's a pretty good snow here, starting to stick to the curbs and the gaps in the pavement and such... big fat wet flakes, what sneak down your collar and ACK! ...

*giggle* Yeah, that's the kind of snow we seem to be getting here now. The rate of fall has picked up and it's starting to stick to the grass, though not quite yet to the pavement. spazzkat relays that he just got managerial permission to bug out, as signs of traffic wackiness are already coming over the local traffic sites!
