Great Big Bike Quest

Panting, flushed, and armed with a tall glass of iced Gatorade, our heroine staggers home from her quest and collapses at her keyboard. She has put her bike and helmet away. She has shed her jacket and fleece and gloves. She is triumphant.

She holds in her hands The Hard and the Easy, and lo, she has journeyed far to obtain it, though she was fortunate in her quest to have the aid of a perky young counter-dweller who held it in safe-keeping until our heroine arrived on the scene ("would you like to listen to it first?" "No, that's okay, I know what I'm getting!").

"My word," our heroine remarks, "I think this thing is glowing!"

jewel case??!?! mine's two pockets of cardboard, with the CD in the front pocket and the DVD in the back one.

Really? Wow. I wonder why the difference in packaging?

I had to take out the broken bit of the case, and I've temporarily stuck the CD and DVD into a couple of envelopes out of a big box of CD envelopes I had in the office. That'll at least keep them unscratched till I can acquire a new case!

I have no idea why they'd be different. I like the packaging, and when I got it just figured they were going for something different from normal

I expect it was a decision made by the distributor of the records... perhaps just a difference in how they handle the US vs. the Canadian market. The Canadian version certainly saves plastic!
