YAY! TWO OF THE FOUR BUILDS WE'RE SUPPOSED TO TEST TODAY ARE BROKEN!

("No, GIR, that's bad." "Awwww!")

It's kind of nice doing the Kenmore-to-downtown-to-Microsoft bus commute on a Sunday morning, thanks to there being hardly anybody on the bus at all. It doesn't make me want to work on the weekends, but it does make me appreciate going in on a Sunday morning at least a little bit. Had a nice walk to the bus stop as well, getting down there in a bright and rhythmic hail of Carbon Leaf (though it's a trifle odd to hear chirpy birdsong interspersed with the funky bass solo at the very beginning of "Torn to Tattered").

Donuts awaited us this morning courtesy of my boss, as he'd done yesterday. And it was a bit of a relief to see almost all of the builds we're supposed to be testing already out and waiting, though it turned out that two of the three builds were broken in the same big catastrophic way they were broken yesterday. So I can't even test on them. I am not feeling too much grief about that, because this leaves me only ten boxes I need to worry about pushing through testing, after which point I can go home. Hopefully at a sane hour. Much will depend on whether the build guys cough up a couple fixed versions of these two builds that are busted.

However, my boss also just made a pass through here asking who's up for lunch. They are, at least, feeding us. Yay!

Also, one of my boxes keeps playing the trailer from Attack of the Clones. It is somewhat bemusing to me to realize that this was actually IMHO a better movie than Revenge of the Sith--certainly more coherent, at any rate. It's kind of funny to me that the second movie in both Star Wars trilogies is therefore apparently the best.
