It occurred to me that I need to contact Dr. Marshall to ask her how soon after the surgery I need to see her again, just to make sure I go on thyroid meds at the proper time. Last time around I still had half a thyroid left, but this time I won't have ANY, and I don't know how long it'd take my system to chug through all the thyroid hormone left over once the thyroid is removed. I've called in to ask about that, though I had to leave voice mail. Whee.
Episode 2 of Battlestar Galactica's second season tonight; looking forward to that, as well as tomamishka's coming over to watch the episodes of The Dead Zone that have been stacking up on our Tivo. (Even though I do not approve of the new theme song for the show for this season.)
