And now, as quoted out of the Amelia Peabody series, I present for you the case for why, should these delightful books ever get made into movies, Russell Crowe should have the role of Emerson:

Date: 2005-06-08 02:55 am (UTC)The only other actress that's even pinged vaguely onto my radar is the woman who played the lead in The Mummy and The Mummy Returns; I don't know her name. But she certainly had the right kind of attitude.
Though really, a talented unknown might well fit the bill here, as for Ramses. :)
