annathepiper+0: There are quite a few of you to whom I owe long-overdue LJ comments. This is a direct result of me having had almost all of my spare time eaten by editing the book. I shall, however, endeavor to get caught up over the next few weeks, so don't be surprised if you see a reply come in on something several weeks old. Or, just for the sake of less confusion, I may bring older threads forward on my journal for further discussion. Just as a general FYI to all!

solarbird and I just had a nice walk down to Lake Forest Park, and on the way we nosily stopped in at the open house being held in a neighbor's house that's now on the market. We had a pleasant chat with the agent who was hanging out in there, who offered us homemade cookies. Then we headed on down to LFP Town Centre, and down there we discovered to our satisfaction that there will be a farmer's market there this summer. I got paper for the printing of the book, but not envelopes; I shall have to look a little harder for appropriate envelopes and perhaps also rubber bands. I figure I should probably get two envelopes; I'm thinking I don't mind telling a publisher to go ahead and recycle a partial manuscript, but I figure if I'm going to go to the trouble of printing up a full 400+ page manuscript, I'd rather like it back.
+/-2: The University District Street Fair is coming up again! Chances are high that the Murkworks crowd will be going, though this year I shall have to coordinate it against having to take my cat to the vet this next Saturday. Grf. It would be annoying to head down to MurkSouth, do the Street Fair, then head all the way back up here to get the cat, then head back down to the U-district. Accordingly, I will most likely have to do the Street Fair on Sunday. Locals who might also wish to go, consider this a heads up if you're interested in any kind of group outing!
