More squee!
May. 11th, 2005 09:56 amWhat, you thought I was only going to have a night's worth of squee about a joint Russell Crowe/Alan Doyle musical project? I'm just getting warmed up!
Ahem!
cruisedirector,
boxer_ferret, and anybody else on my Friends list who's been waiting on the new Russell album: now that you've downloaded My Hand, My Heart, might I humbly note that the iTunes store does have the entire GBS discography? Of particular note, go look for Play, which has the original GBS release of "How Did We Get From Saying I Love You?" on it. Then you can play Russell's version and GBS' version back to back. (A chick on Gruntland jokes about having tried to play them simultaneously, which I suppose is one other way of getting Alan and Russell to sing together, but the music gets kind of muddy that way. ;) )
I finally just now listened to the two-part joint Alan/Russell interview, and mostly just grinned goofily at the odd incongruity in my brain of hearing Alan Doyle's voice and Russell Crowe's voice in the same conversation! It was a fun listen, though; the interviewer was clearly having fun interviewing them, and both of them were laid back and easygoing. I'll have to listen to the newer Russell interview later.
Meanwhile:
Tuesday miles: 1.0
Miles out of Hobbiton: 104.66
Miles to Rivendell: 353.34
