-0: As a general point of interest, insomnia sucks. Another restless night--I'm pretty sure I dozed off enough to dream a couple of times, as I distinctly remember dreaming about joining the two Battlestar Galactica LJ communities that [livejournal.com profile] solarbird has joined, [livejournal.com profile] bsg_women and [livejournal.com profile] 13th_colony. And, on cue, the cat yowled at me in the middle of the night, at least twice. I'm really, really hoping she settles down, what with [livejournal.com profile] risu coming home today.

+0.5: In an attempt to do something about this stupid insomnia, I have scheduled myself for a massage appointment this weekend, and if all goes well I shall immediately follow that up with a chiropractor appointment as well. I needed to spend the certificate for a massage that [livejournal.com profile] mamishka gave me for my birthday anyway, and right now, I think I desperately need a good massage.

+1: I really like the idea of an LJ community devoted to the female characters on Battlestar Galactica, so I think I will in fact go join that one. It reminds me of [livejournal.com profile] jesshartley, since it has the "Well behaved women rarely make history" quote on its banner. Hee.

-2: I have warned my lead as well as the FTE I work with that my brain is sludge today, and will see if I can manage to hold out long enough to get today's round of work done. I'd really like to go home and try to take a long nap, but the only problem with that is, if I don't work, I don't get PAID. This was what made me roll out of bed this morning and drag myself off to the bus stop.

-3: And once I got here, I discovered that three more of my test servers have gone belly up due to "thermal events". Apparently this particular model of Dell is seriously prone to this, because this makes six or seven boxes on this one server rack that have had this happen. Our lab manager has been swapping them out with boxes that aren't supposed to do this anymore. It's really annoying, because these are my primary test servers, and we're going to need them once we make the final push to get this service pack shipped in another couple of weeks.

-4: Also, there is build fun today, as I discovered that today's build was not actually released on the x86 platform only after I'd almost finished building out my x86 boxes, and wondering why the hell they were all on yesterday's build when my x64 boxes were chugging happily away on today's.

+5: Also, despite not having treadmilled last night, I was back down to 167 on the scale this morning. I don't know if I'll make 166 by Monday, which is supposed to be the goal, but we'll see what happens. No matter when I drag my groggy self home, I must remember to get on the treadmill today.
