Oh look! SNOW!

solarbird lifting the shades in our bedroom--and realized that the world outside was white. It had snowed during the night!
I got up very quickly at the sight of it, got my contacts in so I could see, and drank in the gorgeous sight of the view from our house altered by snowfall. The vista of trees is particularly lovely, with white-frosted evergreens interspersed with all the deciduous ones. The view out the media room door is gorgeous, too. We seem to have a couple of inches out there right now, and as I type this, it's still occasionally flurrying. Weather.com claims intermittent snow showers are supposed to continue this morning through the Seattle metropolitan area, and advises motorists to use caution on roadways, as they are slick and hazardous. We may or may not get more snow showers this evening; we'll have to see.
It'll be interesting to see who all makes it in to work tomorrow. I go by bus, so I will probably make it in--though which busses I take will be the amusing question. Till then, though, I will enjoy the snowy Sunday!
