I'm going to be busy!

I have just spent a good chunk of time tonight updating my running file of story concept notes, based on recent brainstorming and worldbuilding and such I've been doing over the course of this year. This exercise has caused me to break my list down into four distinct groups, as follows:

* Works in active progress: 2
* Works I definitely will be writing: 6
* Things which may be really good to write if active works in progress get sold: 10
* Things which may provide me usable concepts if I hammer on them a while and see if novels jump out of them: 8

YOW, that gives me a total of 26 things on this list. Possibly more, as some of the things in my list could either be single books or trilogies.

Fortunately, I have already resolved to be at this a while. :D

OK, I was patient in waiting for Weis and Hickman to come up wit hsomething to top the original dragonlance trilogy, which they finally did after how many years... take your time... ;)

btw, i posted something in my LJ to relieve some stress and boredom ,and possibly bring out a laugh or two... feel free to try it... though it's not very good, or long, it just hit me when i was trying to sleep...

Ah, but in that case, those are actual authors who were already published when you were waiting. ;) Me, I have to come out with the FIRST work!

I started another one at work today, worked on it here and there between calls before they sent me home sick... (damned stomach virus is catching up to me- urgh)... needless to say, my mind wasn't where it was supposed to be at work today, and it was a good thing the floor coach took pity and called downstairs to see if they'd take me off the boards... i think i'm gonna take a nap...

Feel better today... Making cookies for the bake-sale at work on Tuesday... Lemon Drops, Choc/Choc Chip, Lemon Orgasms, and Choc Orgasms... the latter 2 have coconut in them... yummm... and sampling is allowed since each recipe makes 4 dozen, and I'm only taking a dozen of each in... :)
