Date: 2004-07-29 05:36 pm (UTC)That said, I am having a bit of an interesting time just getting through the first of her werewolf books, though this is less the fault of the book and more the fault of being too distracted by everything else to sit down and read it all the way through!
As for her covers--I like the ones on the werewolf trilogy just fine. But the cover she showed us during her panel was one of the Harlequin or Silhouette or some such series... and after in-depth exposure to those at
Duly noted re: Kushiel's Dart. I fully expect to be challenged by this book; I hope that holds up. And heck, Jacqueline Carey signed it for me, so now I feel rather obligated to read it. :)
