Some time tomorrow (well, okay, as I am writing this at dark-thirty in the morning it'll technically be TODAY, but who's counting?) evening, I will be scampering off to join [livejournal.com profile] mizkit, [livejournal.com profile] shadowhwk, [livejournal.com profile] chrysoula, and [livejournal.com profile] jesshartley at Writer's Weekend. This means likely no net access for me unless the hotel has wireless, and I ain't counting on that, but I will at least have my handheld with me and will probably compose LJ entries about the conference on it now that I've gotten PocketLJ to work. :)

[livejournal.com profile] mikekn and [livejournal.com profile] brightbeak, I will most likely not be able to get your software mailed off to you before I go--I'll be too busy doing laundry and packing clean clothes to wear, as well as just doing more packing for the move. I'll try to get email sent off to you tomorrow to acknowledge arrangements, however. It'll just be that I probably won't get stuff mailed out till next week.

[livejournal.com profile] kriski, the packing for the aforementioned move is interfering with my German studies. ;P Hopefully I will be able to take another stab at Der kleine Hobbit once we actually get into the new house; if nothing else, I daresay that in the week following my surgery on the 3rd, I'll be doing plenty of lying around being dazed, which should allow for reading time. Of course, this probably means I'll be able to read, oh, say, two or three words in an hour.

If I owe you email or answers to LJ comments, I beg your indulgence as I work on getting the conference, the move, and the surgery dealt with! Not to mention getting writing done in between all of this.

TM types, whether you be staffers or players, I've just posted a reminder about my absence from the game ON the game, but consider yourselves reminded here, too.

Anything that absolutely needs my attention before I go, better drop a comment on this quick, folks! Otherwise, see you when I get back. :)

oh, i hate moving. with a passion. i am an absolute pack rat and own too many books, cds, dvds, videos and music tapes BY FAR. not to mention the entire bookcase devoted to comics only.

what kind of surgery are you getting?

about the german thing: you read if and when you do. and if you have questions, i'll do my best to help.

have fun at the conference!

Oh, I am a packrat too - but I'm in such a mode right now, packrat or no, I am powerfully envious of anybody who is moving! I want to move so badly. Good luck with the move, Anna, and have fun getting a fresh start in a new place! :)

Reading the Hobbit in German while lying around in a post-surgery daze sounds like a bizarre experience. I look forward to hearing about it. ;) Have fun at the writer's weekend!

i TRIED to get rif of some stuff on my last move. but i simply CANNOT throw or even give away books! must be a genetic defficiency or something.

good luck with the surgery. i hope the test comes back negative.

ohhhh, you thank people kindly! do you also crack your neck and flick your tongue? do you lick electrical sockets? unless you got the reference, the last sentence was kinda rude. so i hope you do know a man in red, like something off a christmas tree.

but my point actually was that you do not need to justify, and certainly no to me, what progress you make with german. if you don't find time, you don't find time, simple as that.
