Nope, I did hear them while napping, though. :) Up until today, I have had every Monday with an empty house, so Panda comes over and we hang out. We get very little privacy since he moved home to prepare for his huge exams. From now on, we don't get Mondays alone anymore, because school has let out for the summer and I live with a school teacher. So, since the family I live with was going out for the evening last night, Panda came over and we made use of the empty house. We cooked beef stroganoff and it came out super yum. We were going to see Spiderman, but the food coma was so powerful we decided we needed to take a nap first. We never made it to the movie, as we didn't wake up until after midnight. Whoops. But I could hear (and sort of, through the blinds, see a little) lots of 'splody things. Very nice. :)

Lake Union is a great place to watch from - you must've had a great view! Glad you guys had a good time. :)

Mmmmmm beef! Tasty fooooooood! That sounds pleasant even without the fireworks. :)

And yeah, our view was fabulous! spazzkat and solarbird and mamishka and I were pretty much right up by the water.
