And in the land of GOOD news...
Jul. 1st, 2004 08:53 am+1. As of last night,
solarbird and I have finally, FINALLY sold 5026. Which should have happened almost a month ago at this point but didn't, thanks to the new guy's lending institutions being so lame and slow in getting his paperwork dealt with. But now it's DONE, so we can actually afford to...
+2. ... go forth with the offer on a new place in Kenmore, which as it turns out is just around the corner and up the street from the FIRST place in Kenmore that we liked and weren't able to get. We're actually kind of ambivalent about this new house; it's got some attributes about it that are kind of annoying, but on the other hand it's also got some actively nice stuff about it. Its real major advantages though are its location and the lack of noise, both of which have been really big issues with us in trying to find a proper house over this last year's worth of househunting.
+3. In two more days it will be exactly a month since Tor opened up my manuscript packet. Not that I'm counting or anything...
+4. To all the Canadians on my Friends list, HAPPY CANADA DAY! And special to those of you in Newfoundland: Happy Memorial Day!
