A player just recently returning to Two Moons has asked me about the possibility of taking over Myriel. As I am still in fact playing Ynderra, I thought this might be an interesting thing--but I wanted to check with you guys before I just go ahead and hand her out. Partly because I want to make sure 1) y'all ain't planning to take up the character again any time soon so it'd be okay with you, and 2) if so, to make certain there isn't anything in particular I would need to tell a new Myriel player.

Her last known IC whereabouts were "leaving Lostholt on a private quest to try to figure out how to cope with the fact that her cub got killed". So she could be ANYWHERE at this point.

Let me know your thoughts. :)

I've no objection. While I'd enjoy playing Myriel, I just don't have time for RP in my life right now.

However, it's a Good Thing if any Myriel (or 'derra) player has read/seen at least a little Dirty Pair. *grin*

Especially Myriel, though, since Kei is the more flambouyant of the pair.

Play Myriel again. Huh. Now there's an interesting concept.

I think it'd be interesting. Possibly fun. But... I shouldn't. I've already got one of someone else's characters not doing anything... no point in making it two.

I'd forgotten about the Dirty Pair thing. :) I've passed that on to the player in question!

Ynderra and Myriel both have had reason to calm down significantly since their mischievous youthful days--Myr more than Derra, since Myr had a Recognition that did not result in a lifemating AND the daughter from said Recognition was killed off. But this doesn't necessarily mean she isn't flamboyant anymore. ;) I shall advise the prospective player accordingly.

Okay hon! Let me know if you can think of anything in particular that you did with Myriel that would be important to relay to a new player. Her presence in my logs and on the timeline is kind of scattershot, and she's been gone out of Lostholt long enough that her current status is very open-ended!
