And while we're on the topic of this, also due toelflad, I went over to Wil Wheaton's blog to see the post he made coming out in support of gay marriage. Very eloquently written, but what struck me just as strongly was the outpouring of comments he got in reply. Most of them were vigorously in favor. Some of them weren't, though there was even one man who specifically stated that while he disagreed with Wil, he wanted a rational discourse on the topic. And I have to respect that. And in yet another comment in that thread, I noticed a poster with a little link about one person's analysis of what the Bible has to say about homosexuality. A very thought-provoking read, and worth checking out no matter what side of this issue you're on. Ergo, I wanted to share it around.

So are your family, friends and neighbors. Please ask them to sign the petition today while news of Bush's announcement spreads.
