annathepiperIt was very odd not actually doing any writing last night. I'd toyed with the idea of starting to review my notes for my other project, then toyed with the idea of playing with a couple of my fanfic projects, but mostly what I wound up doing was playing with my guitar. And playing Slashem. ;)
This morning, I was awakened by the simple fact that it was lighter in the room than it should have been, and THAT made me go "HOLY CRAP what time is it?" The answer to this question was 'approximately 8:20', whereupon I realized that I had not in fact properly set the alarm last night. DOH.
So I had to drive in. Which was a little nerve-wracking, because 1) it's raining like a sunuvabitch outside, and 2) this was the farthest I've driven since breaking my arm, and also 3) only the third time I've driven since breaking my arm.
"But ya GOT HERE! Did you all come in the same van, by any chance?" -- George Carlin
And also, Nutri-Grain bars carried in the purse for two days get kind of squishy. Y'all were just dying to know that, I'm sure.
Oh, and one more thing, attention to Great Big Sea: NONE OF YOUR SHINY NEW TOUR DATES ARE IN SEATTLE. Please correct this oversight immediately. Thank you.
