Egad, there's a mumak on my Friends list

This would seem to suggest that it is a friendly mumak, but damned if I can remember reading any scrolls of taming or casting any spells of charm monster. I'd almost think I must have stepped on a magic trap and had my charisma go up, except I don't feel more charismatic and I think I would have said something if there would have been a mumak one square over...

Something like this: "OHMIGOD A MUMAK WHERE ARE MY ARROWS?!?!"

It's one of the nastier critters in Nethack. Of the q variety. Many a promising character of mine has been slain by one hit from one of those buggers. ;)

Hee hee! Well, mumakil rank right between air elementals and soldier ants for propensity to deal me a swift merciless death, so hey, inspiration. ;)

I think but am not a hundred percent certain that janne is still on equest-l; I shall have to ask her. I'm paying very little attention to the list these days , I must admit. I'm doing well to keep up with my Livejournal!
