It's boring, but hey, it's work
Jul. 9th, 2003 05:07 pmThird day on the job and so far my life revolves around configuring a lot of test servers and learning how the various pieces of a big ol' pile of automated scripts do their thing.
I still don't have a badge yet, and had to send mail to the ITG people to ask them to fix my name in their records as it is not, in fact, "Korra'Ti Anglela". I don't know how THAT rather spectacular mangling occurred; I will have to see if I filled out the form from Volt for setting up my internal Borg access right. It's possible that I munged it thanks to left-handed writing and being up at Early-Thirty without caffeine to get to that orientation last week.
On the other hand, it's also par for the course for ITG from the first two times I worked here, so well hey.
