We have a new birdie!

Dar got the parrot she wanted, and has named her Zoe. She lives in a cage on the landing of our stairs now, with a view of the living room as well as a view out the front and side windows.

And whoo boy howdy is the cat not taking well to this. ;)

Zoe does not talk. Zoe does apparently mutter, which is amusing, since it's pretty much the same muttering that Vicka's old parrot Max used to do. She has not been really well socialized, though, so it'll be anybody's guess whether she will be able to pick up talking by being in a more sociable environment.

I'm looking forward to seeing her react to Jam. ;)
