They may not suck, but they will inevitably retread territory we've seen before. I love Dawn, but I want to see her in relation to the characters we're already invested in, and then dealing with one-off friends, not with her own Scrappy Gang (and yes, that name is all over the net). I think this is a concession that Joss really doesn't know what to do with his adolescent characters once they leave high school.
