... read, member of the Great Big Sea Street Team, I have walked out today into the bright summer sunshine, Road Rage in my headphones, and found places to leave 66 of these cute little flyers on either Roosevelt or the Ave. 1 to Trading Musician, 5 at the Library, 10 at Top Cash Paid, 20 at Tower Records, 10 at the Mix, 20 at Cellophone Square. Not bad for my first day. ;)
The most amusing thing about the experience though was the guy at the Mix asking me to say a couple of random sentences to him because he thought he heard an accent in my voice. I told him I was from Kentucky, and he went, "Oh, so that's what Kentucky sounds like!" Northern Kentucky, I specified, since if you go south enough in Kentucky it starts sounding like Tennessee.
Tomorrow: the University Village and points north and east! We'll see how many of these flyers I can get rid of, in the name of spreading Singing Newfoundlander Goodness.
