Apparently, today is Weirdo Dreams Day

annathepiperI slept really badly last night (though okay, 'night' is defined in my parlance as 3amish to 12 noonish), and had a lot of disjointed dreams. Apparently so did a lot of other people, too. Dar and Thomas both say that they dreamed oddly last night, and Dar says that others online are saying that they had weird dreams last night as well.
Mine were a montage. I remember a 30 Odd Foot of Grunts show in an arena, at which I was a whole bunch of rows back, and I remember something about Great Big Sea being supposed to perform at the same place the same night after the Grunts. I remember leaving the Grunts show and somehow taking a wrong turn and getting lost, and while I was heading for an exit being aware Russell Crowe and his presumed entourage somewhere behind me, though I don't remember actually seeing them pass me.

princessheacock (Sarah) was apparently going to be playing Winnowill out of Elfquest of all characters, and I loaned her my 3rd Elfquest graphic novel for purposes of studying up for the role. But I also remember a guy there who was supposed to be playing a character out of that same graphic novel -- a human -- and one who did not in fact appear in the actual real-life story. He was of Hispanic blood of some kind and I remember later in the dream that he'd lost some sort of green silk patterened short-sleeved shirt at the park. And I tried to call him up while he was on a plane en route to Minneapolis to see the next Great Big Sea show. I got through to him but somehow got disconnected and re-routed to his home phone, where I think I talked to his sweet little old mother and I had to explain to her who I was and why I was calling, and ask for an address to mail the guy's misplaced shirt.
I can see where I got the Grunts-related stuff from -- in honor of Russell Crowe's birthday yesterday, and to also test out the DVD-ROM drive that I got off the laptop from eBay, which I can now use 'cause Sarah so kindly traded hard drives with me so now I have the hard drive space for it, I watched all the sekrit hidden bits on the TOFOG Texas DVD finally. And the GBS bits of the dream, unsurprising as well since I'm about to go see them live again.
But where the heck did I get Sarah playing Winnowill?!
