Well, all the cool kids were getting Livejournals, so it looks like I'm succumbing, as well. So here it is, folks, my very own brandly new (to borrow a phrase from the lovely and talented Alan Doyle) Livejournal. Dunno yet how often I'll yak in this thing, but well hey. I'm verbose. I'm sure I'll figure out something entertaining to say soon enough.

You never can escape bumping into random people who you used to associate with in previous decades on the Internet!

There's actually a lot of ex-MUSHers (and ex-Pernies in particular) on livejournal these days. It's nice - there's a sense of keeping in touch with a lot of people I'd otherwise lose track of.

I'm definitely moving at the end of March (lease is up, I'm unemployed and can't afford it), and a real chance (percentages still frustratingly impossible to calculate) that I'll end up back in Seattle. It's a complex combination of variables dependant on hearing back from grad schools I've applied to (including UW), where I can find cheap crash space between jobs (particularly if the grad school plan fails) and the new Soula House in Kirkland is a prime choice, where I can find a real job if the grad school plan fails (and Seattle can't be much worse than the Bay Area right now), and probably other random factors. If I do end up in Seattle, I'll definitely stop by and say "Hi! I'm older now!"

Grr. Argh.

Hihihihihi! Glad to see you again, guy - Soula had mentioned you before recently, and it's nice to know you found my journal. Sorry to hear about your job status, though. I'm in the land of the unemployed too, my part-time job at the bookstore notwithstanding. Keep in touch!
