Ordinary Day

I won't be trekking down to Portland on a regular basis, no--if nothing else because honestly, I don't have the time. It's an even longer drive or train ride for me, comparable to going to Vancouver, and that's time I'd just as soon spend working on the books.

I'll be investigating what I can do via forums and maybe meeting up with people at cons, though. They had a Westercon presence last year and it'll be interesting to see what happens at forthcoming conventions.

Given that dues were only $25, I'm certainly willing to try it for a year and see what happens, anyway. That's about as much as I drop on LJ for my paid account every year, so!
