Congratulations are in order!

Huge, huge congratulations to irysangel, who has announced on her LJ tonight that through her agent, she has sold her very first novel! Everybody please to go over here and congratulate her, and remind her that now is a good opportunity to learn that choice phrase taught to us by smartbitches as the appropriate thing to say when landing a book deal. ;)

Me, I shall take this as further prodding to get Lament of the Dove back out the door, as well as to get Queen of Souls finished up so that I can start dragging all my beta readers into service to bang that into shape so that can get queried too.
