Okay folks, this is driving me nuts and my Google fu is failing me. Help me, Livejournal, you're my only hope!
Apparently my HP iPaq, ever since I installed ActiveSync 4.5 and the Daylight Savings Time 2007 update on it, has up and decided it's going to randomly lose files that are supposed to be synced to it. This is beyond annoying, and it seems to have no rhyme or reason other than 'randomly losing files in the My Documents directory'. This includes things like text files, Excel spreadsheets, even the custom theme files I'd stuck on there so I could randomly switch back and forth between themes on the device.
I tried resetting the partnership it had with my laptop, which let me do a clean sync of all my files--they're still on the laptop just fine. And that seemed to work initially, only then the problem started up again.
Anyone got any clever suggestions or solutions, or at the very least pointers to things I've missed in my Google searches that might be pertinent?
