Snowless in Kenmore
Nov. 29th, 2005 03:34 pmNo snow in Kenmore. A lot of wet, but no snow; it never got cold enough last night for the rain we were getting to change over to snow. Stupid weather forecast, going and getting my hopes up and then cruelly dashing them! I should have known the prospect of seeing some snow in November was too good to be true.
And if the weather isn't exciting here, it's still apparently more exciting than is comfortable down in hurricane territory, because Tropical Storm Epsilon squeaked in at the last minute, just before the season is supposed to end tomorrow. And the CNN article says that forecasters are warning that storms could still form in December if conditions are right, too. GUH.
In other news, I was supposed to have a job interview today at Real, but my recruiter told me yesterday that the guy I was supposed to see is apparently out sick, and had asked about moving the interview to Thursday. I told her that was fine. But as of today she hasn't gotten back a confirmation on that from the guy at Real, so I have no idea whether I'm going to have an interview this week or not.
I do have a vet trip scheduled for tomorrow, as it is time to take the cat in for her bi-annual physical exam. I do not expect Polly to be very pleased about this.
And I've been annoyingly scatterbrained, which has impacted my ability to write. It's probably a synthroid thing--or, rather, a lack of synthroid thing. The symptoms I've been having have lessened noticeably as I've been on this higher dosage, but I don't think I'm quite where I need to be yet. I'm going to go in in the next week or so and have them look at my levels again, since my next scheduled appointment with Dr. Marshall isn't for another month and I don't think I want to wait that long.
