No weekend for me!
Aug. 12th, 2005 08:33 amLooks like my team is on tap to come in for weekend testing both tomorrow and Sunday. Half of me is going, "Bugger, no weekend for me!" The other half of me is going, "WHOO HOO SIXTEEN HOURS OF OVERTIME!" And honestly,
solarbird and I need the money, so I can't complain too terribly much about that. Just as long as I get in the writing time and some sleep, I'll be good.
casirafics, this means we're out for meeting at the Lake Forest Park Town Center Farmer's Market this Sunday, unfortunately.
And I shall have to reschedule my cat's vet appointment. It was just going to be a blood draw anyway, and she's gone a week without thyroid meds, so I'd better get her back on the meds and THEN reschedule her when my work schedule's not quite so wacky. I shall, however, still have to send my beloved out on a quest to fetch her meds. After Polly was off of them for months due to our budget, I quickly observed after her most recent round of meds that she really does need them; the difference in her appetite is noticeable, and she has been getting weight back as well. So. Thyroid meds for me and my cat: not optional!
In the meantime, greetings to
twinb76, who I see has joined her sister in Friending my journal. Hiya!
Thursday evening miles: 1.75
