Oh dear, this can't be good
Nov. 15th, 2002 10:10 amSo up on Gruntland, they have an announcement posted that says that due to unforeseen circumstances, the tour they were arranging for 2003 has been cancelled. Three shows that had already been booked are having their tickets refunded.
At the same time, shows being played by the band involving the Grunts' bass player are also getting cancelled; an announcement from one of their representatives on the Gruntland message board says that this is due to illness in the band.
I'm rather worried about Mr. Garth Adam, now, since he is the gentleman the two bands have in common.
I am also wondering whether this has anything to do with Mr. Crowe having just gotten his ass kicked in England. Which I would find a non-zero possibility, but then again, Crowe cancelling his band's tour shouldn't affect a band he isn't in; a couple of the other Grunts have their own bands which quite happily wander around touring regardless of Crowe's schedule...
In summary, regardless, "awww bugger".
